Collection NFT from Ryuganji Temple in Kyoto

NFT inspired by the real visitor stamp offered at Japanese temples. Goshuin is a handwritten calligraphy stamp that reminds the owner of a visit to a Buddhist temple. Pilgrims often collect them during their travels.

According to the website, the initiative is part of a project by Japanese advertising company Goshuin to introduce foreigners to Japan's temples. There are currently about 80 shrines and 000 temples in the country.

Ryuganji Temple's head priest Ryuho Ikeguchi also hopes that their free collection NFT more people will be able to experience the Buddhist temple, which he considers the most interesting part of Japanese culture.

Ryuganji Temple was founded in 1616. It is built on the site of the former residence of Shibukawa Harumi, the first astronomer of the Edo shogunate.
