Polygon: AggLayer version with support for connecting to any EVM chain to go live in early December
On November 7, Polygon announced that its version of AggLayer will go live in early December with support for connecting to any EVM chain. v0.2 of AggLayer offers a new zero-knowledge proof-of-concept tool using Pessimistic Proof, capable of integrating with existing EVM chains, ensuring security, and flexible enough to protect non-EVM chains. In addition, v0.2 will support alternative tokens, low-cost transactions, and provide a path to native Gas token connections for L2 chains. Future versions of AggLayer will support alternative virtual machines such as MoveVM, third-party integrations for a seamless user experience and low-latency cross-chain interoperability.
