According to the CME ‘Fed Watch’, the probability that the Fed will keep the current rate unchanged in December is 29.9%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis points of interest rate cuts is 70.1%. The probability of keeping current rates unchanged by January next year is 21.6%, the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points is 58.9%, and the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points is 19.5%.
