Trump: There is currently no plan to ask Powell to resign from his position as Chairman of the Federal Reserve

On December 8, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump stated on the NBC program "Meet with Kristen Welker" that he would not attempt to replace Federal Reserve Chairman Powell after taking office in January next year.
