ai16z founder Shaw explained the project structure and the relationship between each entity in a post on X, pointing out:
ai16z is a decentralized DAO with tokens ai16z and degenai;
ElizaOS is an open-source AI agent framework;
Eliza Labs is responsible for developing elizaOS;
ELIZA token was developed by an independent team, it has team support but it's not an official product.
Shaw also emphasized that DAOs are decentralized, launched fairly without any entity intervention or arrangements like team allocation, VC or similar.
