Riot Platforms Mines 516 BTC in December 2024, Up 4% YoY
Bitcoin mining company Riot Platforms has released its unaudited production and operations update for December 2024, mining 516 BTC in December, a 4% increase YoY. 2024 saw Riot increase its deployed hash rate by 155%, outpacing the 52% increase in network hash rate over the same period. The company mined a total of 4,828 Bitcoins in 2024 and held 17,722 Bitcoins at the end of 2024, a 141 percent increase in holdings compared to the end of 2023.
