Neo joins Warpcast with LuckyCast Frame for airdrops, expanding presence in Farcaster ecosystem
Neo has officially joined Warpcast, a decentralized social media application built on the Farcaster protocol. Neo has taken its first steps by creating an account and launching the “LuckyCast” Frame that rewards users for interactions.
Farcaster is a decentralized protocol designed to support user-owned social applications. By leveraging blockchain technology, it empowers users with greater control over their data and digital identities. Warpcast, built on Farcaster, enables developers to integrate EVM-based blockchain solutions through interactive apps called Frames.
Frames provide in-feed tools for users to engage in various activities, such as minting NFTs, sharing content, or participating in prediction markets. Frames within the social media platform support multiple EVM-compatible blockchains, including Ethereum Layer 2 solutions like Optimism and Base. With the integration of the Neo X EVM sidechain, users can now access Neo-based functionalities directly within Warpcast.
To celebrate its debut, Neo has launched LuckyCast, a Frame dApp enabling users to submit their Farcaster ID or referral code to qualify for future rewards, such as airdrops. The first reward campaign distributed a pool of GAS on Neo X to users who interacted with the Frame dApp. The initiative highlights Neo’s commitment to increasing accessibility and driving on-chain activity. Commenting on the integration, the Neo team stated:
Looking ahead, we encourage more Neo X ecosystem projects to deploy on Warpcast, leveraging the decentralized Farcaster protocol to offer services and incentives to users.
