White House: 25% tariffs will be imposed on Mexican and Canadian goods starting Feb. 1
Golden Finance reported that on January 31 local time, U.S. White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt said at a briefing that it confirmed that it will impose 25% tariffs on Mexican and Canadian goods from February 1 onwards. On January 30, local time, US President Donald Trump said he plans to make good on his promise to impose 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada on February 1 .
