Fed's Williams: Tariff Developments Remain Highly Uncertain, But Don't See Need to Change Interest Rate Policy Now
Federal Reserve Williams said that there is still a great deal of uncertainty about how tariffs will develop, tariffs will have a certain impact on inflation, but also affect market sentiment, dragging down economic growth. Currently the U.S. economy is in good condition, the labour market has stabilized, inflation has gradually slowed down, and currently do not think that the need to change interest rate policy.
