Fed still expects two rate cuts this year

The Federal Reserve still expects to cut interest rates twice this year, the three major U.S. stock indexes edged higher, the Nasdaq expanded to 1 per cent, the S&P 500 index rose 0.69 per cent, the Dow rose 0.52 per cent.
