According to the CME ‘Fed Watch’: the probability that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged in May is 68.8%, and the probability of a 25 basis point cut is 31.2%. The probability that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged until June is 18.5%, the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points is 58.7%, and the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points is 22.9%.
