Winning yield on renewed U.S. 30-year Treasury issue hits highest level since January
The winning yield on the U.S. Treasury's renewed $22 billion issue of 30-year Treasuries was reported at 4.813 per cent, its highest level since January, with pre-issue trading levels at 4.839 per cent at the time bids closed at 1 p.m. EST, when yields on the maturity rose by about five basis points intraday, having previously exceeded 5 per cent at one point on Wednesday .
