According to on-chain data monitored by analyst @ai_9684xtpa, a whale bought back 3,851 ETH at an average price of $1,816.4, incurring a loss of $29,500, and closed a short position of 3,800 ETH.
Since April 22, the cumulative loss from shorting ETH has reached $413,000, with 200 ETH still in open short positions. If losses continue, previous profits may evaporate completely.
