GOAT Network Releases GOAT BitVM2 White Paper, Reducing Challenge Period from 14 Days to 1 Day
Bitcoin ZK Rollup GOAT Network releases the GOAT BitVM2 white paper, proposing the first practical Bitcoin-native ZK Rollup protocol.
Building on the advantages of the original BitVM2 protocol, this protocol introduces several innovations to systematically address issues such as Operator double-spending attacks, inefficient challenge processes, and insufficient incentive mechanisms. It introduces a cryptoeconomic security layer, accelerates dispute resolution, and aligns challenge economics with incentives. While inheriting BTC's native security, it ensures high liveness under the 1-of-n honest node assumption and reduces the originally planned 14-day challenge period of BitVM2 to less than 1 day.
