According to a report by Jinse Finance, Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Japanese listed company Metaplanet, which adopts a Bitcoin treasury strategy, stated on the X platform that the company's stock might be the most shorted among Japanese listed companies. However, this strategy may not succeed. Do short sellers really believe that shorting Bitcoin is a successful strategy? Trading data shows that yesterday, Metaplanet's over-the-counter trading volume ranked third among 12,000 companies, and its trading volume ranked fourth. As of now, the company's Bitcoin holdings have reached 7,800 coins, valued at approximately $833 million.
