Stacks Resumes Block Production and Recommends Miners and Signers Upgrade to v3.1.0.0.11
View original
After fixing a long-standing bug in the stacks-node mempool synchronization logic, the Bitcoin Layer 2 project Stacks has resumed block production and recommended miners and signers to upgrade to v3.1.0.0.11. However, Stacks cautions that performance may occasionally decline until all miners complete the upgrade and urges the adoption of this solution as soon as possible to stabilize block production, with more fixes to follow. It is reported that the bug dates back to 2020, but developers revealed that the issue only surfaced due to increased data load.
