US SEC announces that WisdomTree XRP spot ETF enters "further review process"
U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that the "solicitation of public opinions" phase of the WisdomTree XRP spot ETF has ended, and they are "initiating further review procedures", without directly approving or rejecting it.
The SEC officially accepted WisdomTree's XRP ETF application on February 19, 2025, and initiated a public comment period, which has now ended. The SEC has the right to extend the review period for up to 240 days, with a final decision expected to be announced no later than the end of October 2025.
