According to a report by Jinse Finance, monitored by MistTrack, the U.S. Treasury has imposed sanctions on the Philippine company Funnull for playing a significant role in a "pig butchering" scam. Tether and Circle subsequently froze two addresses related to this: 0xd5ed34...ed510, which had 17,594.75 USDT frozen and 0 USDC. TNmRfn...t8, which had 2,361 USDT frozen. These addresses were found to be associated with multiple platforms, such as HuionePay, and addresses labeled as "theft," "phishing," and "pig butchering scammer" by blockchain analysis company MistTrack.
