Pi Network Launches FruityPi and Targets Engagement with Real-World Cryptocurrency Usage

Pi Network has officially launched FruityPi, a game that aims to demonstrate the practical integration of native ecosystem tools such as Pi Wallet and Pi Ad Network. The launch marks a strategic step by the core team to showcase the real-world applicability of Pi cryptocurrency in gamified environments, encouraging developers to create new experiences based on this infrastructure.

In addition to its entertainment offering, FruityPi allows users to spend Pi to purchase in-game items and developers to monetize through ads. The initiative aims to expand the ecosystem by offering a functional demonstration of the mainnet's use, encouraging projects that can be financed by the recently announced Pi Network Ventures fund, valued at US$100 million.

According to analyst Mr. Spock, the game offers a concrete example of real adoption of the Pi mainnet. He highlighted three points: the cryptocurrency is being actively used in applications; prices are set independently by vendors, such as 0,1 Pi per power-up; and price control is fully decentralized, left to developers and users — with no intervention from the Pi Network core team.

As the ecosystem expands with new uses, the Pi token is facing strong selling pressure. In the last 24 hours, the cryptocurrency has fallen by more than 9% and is trading at around $0,6177. Around 9,8 million tokens are expected to be unlocked soon, which could further intensify the bearish pressure.

Technical indicators point to a bearish trend, with most oscillators and moving averages signaling “sell” or “neutral” positions. Analyst Dr. Altcoin predicts that the price could fall to $0,40 by August if there is no greater transparency from the core team about the network’s development and its token release strategy.
