French Prosecutors Charge 25 Suspects in Connection with Cryptocurrency Kidnapping Case
According to a report by Jinse Finance, French prosecutors have charged 25 suspects accused of kidnapping individuals in the cryptocurrency industry, including six minors. Among these suspects, aged between 16 and 23, 18 have been detained before trial, 3 have applied for a hearing extension, and 4 are under judicial supervision. The case originated from an attempted kidnapping on May 13 in Paris targeting the daughter and grandson of Pierre Noizat, CEO of the French cryptocurrency exchange Paymium. A similar attempted incident occurred the day before, and a few days later, police thwarted another kidnapping near Nantes. (Cointelegraph)
