- Cryptocurrencies and politics intersect at exclusive event
Guests at an exclusive dinner with former President Donald Trump received up to three different NFTs on the Solana network, as a sort of “digital trophy” for their participation and loyalty to the politician-inspired meme currency. One of these tokens has already sold for approximately US$16, while another, given to registrants who did not attend, reached the US$4 mark.
The dinner, held in May at Trump National Golf Club in Washington, DC, was reserved for the 220 largest holders of TRUMP coin. Despite the presence of protesters outside protesting the event — which has been accused by Democratic figures of facilitating foreign political influence via cryptocurrencies — the distribution of NFTs remained a promise kept to attendees.
As promised, if you participated in the “Dinner With Trump”, your $TRUMP NFTs are now in your wallet. These NFT's are on Solana. They are historic collector's items that celebrate the Crypto President!

In total, three categories of NFTs were issued based on each individual’s level of involvement with the coin project. The “Power to the Holders” item was sent to 1.049 wallets, including those who registered but did not necessarily participate. The second, “Gold Gala Dinner,” was sent to 219 addresses corresponding to those who attended the dinner in person.
The most highly valued version so far, the “Diamond Hands” NFT, had only 118 units distributed. This was reserved exclusively for guests who held their TRUMP tokens during the event, demonstrating greater commitment to the asset.
Despite the movement on the secondary market, the organizers themselves made it clear that the items have no functional use beyond their collectible value. In a statement on the official TRUMP project account on the X platform, the NFTs were called “historical collector’s items celebrating the crypto president.”
With these digital assets now circulating on the market, the relationship between cryptocurrencies and American politics gains yet another peculiar — and valuable — chapter.
