Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives: Trump is unhappy with Musk's 180-degree turn, has called Musk but couldn't get through
On June 5, according to reports from American media such as CBS and The Hill on the 4th, after former head of the U.S. Office of Government Efficiency, Musk, criticized the "Big and Beautiful" Act, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson stated that President Trump was displeased with Musk's 180-degree turn.
Johnson refuted Musk's criticism on Wednesday morning (the 4th) local time, saying, "I think he is completely wrong." Johnson added that he called Musk on Tuesday night, but the call was not answered, and he would continue to reach out to him.
Regarding Musk's criticism, according to NBC, White House Press Secretary Levitt responded on the 3rd, saying, "The President is aware of Musk's stance on this bill. But this does not change the President's view. It is a 'Big and Beautiful' Act, and he will stick to it." The White House declined to comment further. (Global Times)
