Starknet: STRK Staking v2 Scheduled to Launch on Mainnet on June 17
According to a report by Jinse Finance, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Starknet announced on the X platform that STRK Staking v2 is scheduled to go live on the mainnet on June 17. This upgrade brings two key features for validators: block proof and commission adjustment, allowing validators to increase commissions under strict conditions to protect delegators. Starknet added that to ensure the stable implementation of this upgrade on the mainnet, the staking contract will be paused for several hours during deployment to facilitate the migration from v1 to v2 and give validators time for integration.
