Bitcoin Hits 943 EH/s in New All-Time Hash Rate High
-
- Bitcoin hash rate reaches 943 EH/s
- Mining difficulty drops 0,45% in recent adjustment
- Major miners extend lead with new equipment
The Bitcoin network has reached a new peak in its hash rate , reaching an impressive 943 exahashes per second (EH/s), even after the last difficulty adjustment saw a slight 0,45% drop on June 14.

This contrast between the increase in hash rate and the decrease in difficulty reinforces the technical advancement of large-scale miners, who continue to invest heavily in hardware upgrades to remain competitive after the most recent halving.
While the decrease in difficulty offers a brief operational relief, analysis indicates that the next adjustment could raise the difficulty level again, intensifying the challenge for small operators.
The continued growth in hash rate is a direct reflection of the aggressive scaling of major mining pools. “The small drop in difficulty is not a turning point; the increase in hash rate surpassing block time targets is an intentional side effect.”
Economic pressure remains high, and miners with less access to resources face increasingly tight margins. Just two days after the adjustment, the hash rate fell slightly to 926 EH/s, indicating that some operators are unable to keep up with the pace set by industry leaders.
As mining concentration intensifies, major hubs continue to consolidate their dominant position. The majority of global capacity is located in the United States, which currently accounts for around 36% of the network’s total hash rate. Next in line are Russia and China, with 15% and 13,7%, respectively.
The new high in hashrate is yet another indication of the maturity and technological competition in the Bitcoin mining sector, where energy efficiency, scale and access to cutting-edge equipment are crucial to the sustainability of operations.
