Ondo Finance is bringing together key players in crypto to create a shared framework for tokenized securities, aiming to make real-world assets more accessible and interoperable across platforms.

On June 17, Ondo Finance ( ONDO ) announced the formation of the Global Markets Alliance, a new coalition that includes the Solana ( SOL ) Foundation, Fireblocks, BitGo, Trust Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Jupiter ( JUP ), and others.

According to the company’s official statement, the group will work on building technical and compliance standards for tokenized public securities like stocks and exchange-traded funds, with a focus on global accessibility, liquidity, and investor protections.

The alliance forms ahead of the launch of Ondo Global Markets, a platform designed to let applications and wallets offer direct access to U.S. securities for users outside the U.S. Ondo’s chief executive officer, Nathan Allman, said the initiative addresses long-standing inefficiencies in global capital markets and represents a key step toward broader financial inclusion.

“Access to U.S. capital markets has historically been gated and inefficient,” Allman said. “Standardization is essential to unlock the full potential of tokenized securities.”

“Tokenized securities are a foundation for the next era of global finance. We see them as a bridge between today’s crypto users and a future where anyone with a smartphone can access real-world opportunities.”

Eowyn Chen, CEO of Trust Wallet

Members of the alliance bring a range of capabilities to the table. Fireblocks and BitGo are contributing secure, institutional-grade custody and settlement infrastructure. Wallets like Trust Wallet and Bitget Wallet will integrate tokenized asset standards to enable onchain access and self-custody for retail users.

Alpaca offers brokerage infrastructure specifically designed for tokenized products, while aggregators like Jupiter and 1inch will focus on access to deep liquidity. The move follows a string of recent milestones for Ondo.

Within the past month, the company brought its tokenized U.S. Treasuries to the XRP Ledger, completed a cross-chain settlement using JPMorgan’s Kinexys and Chainlink, and launched instant conversions between its OUSG fund and PayPal’s PYUSD stablecoin.

With the Global Markets Alliance, Ondo is setting the stage for tokenized securities to grow beyond isolated experiments and into an integrated part of global financial infrastructure.
