ZetaChain Completes Lightning Network Upgrade, Targeting a 70% Increase in Block Production Speed
According to an official announcement reported by Jinse Finance, ZetaChain has completed its Lightning Network upgrade, laying the groundwork for decentralized cross-chain trading. The upgrade includes the following technical improvements: block production time has been increased by 70%, with version V31 reducing block confirmation time from 6 seconds to 4 seconds, and a future target of 2 seconds; Universal Apps compatibility has been enhanced, adding support for Solana smart contract triggers (mainnet) and TON chain (testnet); CCTX speed and performance have been optimized, with features such as signature caching and increased gas, making transactions faster and more stable.
