Survey: Nearly Three-Quarters of Young Investors Prefer Bitcoin Over Gold
On June 23, it was reported that a new global survey by DeVere Group shows that 73% of investors aged 24-45 consider Bitcoin a better long-term investment than gold. The survey covered 730 clients worldwide, with younger investors viewing Bitcoin as "digital gold," citing its borderless nature, accessibility, and alignment with future trends. DeVere CEO Nigel Green stated that Bitcoin and gold are not competitors but rather different assets addressing different needs. He recommends that investors hold both assets to hedge against macroeconomic uncertainty, changes in monetary policy, and geopolitical risks. Green predicts that by 2025, the price of gold will reach $5,000 per ounce, while Bitcoin will climb to $150,000.
