Egypt and Iran Foreign Ministers Hold Talks on Latest Developments in the Middle East
According to a report by Jinse Finance, following the official implementation of the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation on the 24th to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East. Both sides agreed to continue efforts to ease tensions in the region. In a statement released by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the same day, Shoukry welcomed the ceasefire agreement reached between Iran and Israel, emphasizing that both countries must adhere to the agreement. He believes that this agreement is a key step in preventing further escalation of recent tensions and paves the way for resolving differences through political and diplomatic means.
