US House of Representatives Passes HB1664 Bill to Guide the Department of Commerce in Promoting Blockchain Technology

According to ChainCatcher, citing Bitcoin Laws, the U.S. House of Representatives has passed the HB1664 bill, which directs the Department of Commerce to promote "blockchain technology."
The bill, titled the Deploying American Blockchains Act, instructs the Department of Commerce to take several measures: formulate policies to enhance U.S. competitiveness, coordinate the adoption of blockchain technology across agencies, issue relevant guidelines, and support the development of open-source infrastructure.
