TRON Mainnet Version 4.8.0 Upgrade Proposal Officially Approved, Will Be Compatible with Ethereum Cancun Upgrade
Bitget2025/06/27 02:36Odaily Planet Daily News: According to the TRON community, Proposal No. 103 was officially approved by vote at 14:00:00 (UTC+8) on June 26. The new virtual machine instructions introduced in this TRON mainnet upgrade have been officially activated, and the consensus layer verification mechanism has also been optimized.
With this upgrade, the TRON virtual machine is now compatible with the Ethereum Cancun upgrade, supporting the seamless migration of all DApps based on Cancun’s new features to the TRON network. This will further enhance TRON’s high-performance infrastructure advantages, provide more room for developer innovation, and inject new possibilities into the TRON ecosystem.
