Industry insiders believe that "digital assets" is a more comprehensive term, covering the tokenization of existing financial products and presenting a more positive image. Hong Kong Legislative Council member Duncan Chiu stated that after the renaming, digital assets have a broader scope, and the policy vision and direction for the next steps are now more clearly articulated.
