Wall Street Journal: Four Republicans oppose procedural vote on Trump tax bill
according to The Wall Street Journal, on Wednesday night local time, Republican leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives faced a setback on the Trump tax and spending bill, as the party's slim majority once again created a dramatic last-minute event on Capitol Hill. Four Republican lawmakers - Keith Self, Victoria Spartz, Andrew Clyde, and Brian Fitzpatrick - joined Democrats in voting against the procedural "rule" vote, at least for now preventing Republicans from moving to the final passage stage. The procedural vote lasted into the late night, lasting over 7 hours, reportedly the longest voting time in the history of the House of Representatives. (Jinshi)
