BlockBeats News, July 13 — According to monitoring by crypto analyst AI Yi, the "BTC mega whale who has shorted four times since March 2025" is currently facing an unrealized loss of $12.84 million on a 40x short position.

The entry price for this position is $107,973.5, with a liquidation price of $126,480. The trader recently added 5.5 million USDC to maintain the position, so there is still some distance before liquidation.
