Trump Praises Major Corporations’ Investments in Pennsylvania as Tens of Billions Flow into AI
According to a report by Jinse Finance citing foreign media, on Tuesday afternoon local time, U.S. President Trump delivered a speech at the Artificial Intelligence and Energy Summit held on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he praised several major corporate investments accelerating AI development in the state. Google announced it will invest $25 billion over the next two years in Pennsylvania and surrounding areas to develop data centers needed for training AI models and related infrastructure. In addition, Blackstone Group pledged another $25 billion investment, and AI startup CoreWeave announced a $6 billion investment. According to the White House, companies such as FirstEnergy and Constellation Energy are also investing billions of dollars to increase Pennsylvania's power generation capacity.
