Eric Trump, Donald Trump's Second Son, Urges Against Betting on BTC and ETH Declines
According to ChainCatcher, citing a report from Cointelegraph, Ethereum's price surged past $4,000, resulting in the liquidation of approximately $105 million in short positions. Eric Trump, son of U.S. President Donald Trump, commented on social media: "It's satisfying to see ETH shorts get squeezed. I recommend stopping shorting BTC and ETH."
Market data shows that Ethereum reached a high of $4,060 that day, marking a 24-hour increase of 4.6%. Market analysts noted that if the price breaks through the key $4,100 level, it could trigger a larger-scale short squeeze.
