The Federal Reserve's Room for a September Rate Cut Depends on July Core CPI Data
According to ChainCatcher, citing Jin10, the U.S. July CPI data will be released at 20:30 on August 12. If the data shows cooling inflation, it could strengthen expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut in September. Francesco Pesole, FX strategist at ING, stated that if the core CPI monthly rate comes in at 0.3% as expected, it would give the Fed room to lower interest rates.
