Google clarifies it will not restrict non-custodial crypto wallets
According to Jinse Finance, Google previously appeared to plan a ban on unregistered non-custodial crypto wallets in multiple countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, starting in October, as stated in its Google Play "Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Software Wallets Policy" announcement. This move sparked criticism in the market. However, the company later clarified on the X platform that non-custodial wallets are not within the scope of its restrictions and that it will update its Help Center to make this clear. Google's new policy will take effect on October 29 and is mainly aimed at custodial exchanges and software wallets that are required to comply with regulations.
