US Senator Lummis Pushes to Finalize Crypto Market Structure Bill by Year-End
According to a report by Jinse Finance, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis, a Republican from Wyoming, plans to submit the cryptocurrency market structure bill to the President for signature by the end of the year, using the House-passed Digital Asset Market Clarity Act as the basis for the Senate version. Lummis stated that she hopes to retain as many of the House's amendments on stablecoins and other provisions as possible, in order to respect the work done by the House (the bill previously received votes in favor from 78 Democratic representatives). She emphasized that the goal is to complete the legislation before Thanksgiving.
