"When they said a factory would cost $50 billion, I asked, 'What kind of factory is this?'" Trump said, displaying an image he claimed was given to him by Meta CEO Zuckerberg, showing a comparison between the data center and Manhattan to illustrate its scale. "When you see this, you'll understand why it costs $50 billion," Trump said. Previously, Meta had only publicly stated that its investment in the data center would exceed $10 billion.
