The CKB Eco Fund Spark Program is dedicated to supporting community developers and innovative projects. After a detailed and constructive review process, we are pleased to announce that the funding application for the SoMo - Pixel Territory project has been approved.

Project and Developer Information

• Project Name:    Pixel Territory

• Developer:   Telmo

• Project Introduction:   SoMo is a gamified pixel territory application designed to run on the CKB network. It aims to validate novel economic models through the Spore protocol and CKB-native features such as Cell-based ownership. The Spark Program grant will support the development of a testnet MVP for this project and conduct initial seed user testing to gather valuable community feedback and insights.

Spark Program Grant Decision and Rationale The Spark Program Committee evaluated the project proposal and decided to provide funding equivalent to $1,200, with the project expected to be completed in about 8 weeks. The main reasons for this decision are as follows:

• Ecological Value and Innovation:  This project aims to fill the gap of consumer-grade applications in the CKB ecosystem and creatively showcase core technologies such as the Spore protocol.

• Constructive Collaboration:  The committee recognized the project's potential and, through constructive dialogue with the developer, jointly optimized the project scope. The applicant, with a professional and collaborative attitude, ultimately formed a pragmatic and well-defined testnet MVP plan, making it highly feasible within the Spark Program framework.

• Developer Capability and Commitment:  Developer Telmo is a long-standing member of the CKB community. He actively participated in the process of iteration and optimization, demonstrating a commitment to the project's success and an understanding of the Spark Program's objectives.

Fund Management and Project Transparency To ensure the openness and transparency of the Spark Program, all grant funds will be managed and disbursed through a dedicated multi-signature wallet. Project progress, fund usage, and final results will be announced through official channels.

• Multi-signature Managers:   This wallet uses a 2/3 multi-signature mechanism and is jointly managed by the following project committee members to ensure fund security and proper usage: Devrel Lead Hanssen, Research Lead Zhouzhou, and Devrel member Yixiu.

• Funding Disbursement Disclosure:  All funding disbursements (including the initial 20% seed fund and subsequent payments), along with detailed information and transaction hashes, will be publicly disclosed on the Spark Dashboard, Nervos Talk forum, and relevant channels in the Discord community.

• Communication Channels:   The application discussion thread for this project in the Spark Program channel on Nervos Network Discord will serve as one of the main public channels for project progress communication and updates, promoting open information sharing.

Project Support and Outlook The Spark Program will provide necessary support for this project, including regular weekly sync meetings, technical guidance, and publicity after project completion. We look forward to seeing SoMo successfully validate its core concepts on the testnet, and believe its exploration will bring valuable open-source examples to the CKB ecosystem and showcase the unique appeal of CKB native protocols.
Spark Program is a micro-grant mechanism launched by the CKB Eco Fund, aiming to help community developers and innovators turn ideas into verifiable prototypes or obtain early user feedback in a low-threshold, fast-paced manner.

• Each project grant is up to $1,000 (special projects up to $2,000), with a recommended completion period of 1-2 months.
• The Spark Program upholds the spirit of Web5—an organic combination of Web2 and Web3, technology and community symbiosis, small and authentic, use-oriented, and people-centered, supporting developers in balancing technological iteration and user validation.
• We provide rapid evaluation responses, flexible fund usage, regular technical guidance and feedback, and follow-up funding channels for successful projects.
• The Spark Program promises full process transparency, including evaluation results, fund usage, project progress, and completion evaluation. All funds are managed through multi-signature wallets to ensure that transaction records are traceable and verifiable.
