U.S. nonfarm payrolls for June and July were revised down by a total of 21,000 jobs.
BlockBeats News, on September 5, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics stated that the number of non-farm payroll jobs added in June was revised down by 27,000 from 14,000 to -13,000; the number of non-farm payroll jobs added in July was revised up by 6,000 from 73,000 to 79,000.
After the revisions, the total number of new jobs added in June and July was 21,000 lower than before the revisions.
