Bloomberg Analyst: BlackRock Bitcoin Premium Income ETF is an extension of spot products and IBIT
Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, pointed out in a post on X platform that the iShares Bitcoin Premium ETF, an ETF for Bitcoin premium income that BlackRock has applied for, is a spot product under the 1933 Act. It adopts a covered call Bitcoin strategy, aiming to bring certain returns to Bitcoin investments, and is also an extension of another Bitcoin exchange-traded fund IBIT.
