DefiLlama founder: We have been investigating Aster's trading volume and will temporarily remove it from the perpetual contract DEX trading volume rankings.
Jinse Finance reported that 0xngmi, founder of DefiLlama, posted on X stating: "I have been investigating Aster's trading volume, and recently the platform's trading volume has started to almost completely mirror the trading volume of a certain exchange's perpetual contracts. Since it may not be possible to obtain underlying data, such as who is placing and executing orders, Aster will be delisted from the perpetual contract trading volume rankings until we can access this data to verify whether there is wash trading."
