HSBC: The US dollar may weaken again, expected to bottom out early next year

Paul Mackel, Global Head of FX Research at HSBC, pointed out in a report that historically, when the Federal Reserve restarts an easing cycle and the US economy avoids recession, the US dollar tends to weaken. Mackel expects the US dollar to bottom out early next year.
