Ethereum Foundation: Fusaka Hard Fork to Introduce Transaction Gas Limit Cap via EIP-7825
Jinse Finance reported that the Ethereum Foundation stated in an official blog post that with the upcoming Fusaka hard fork, EIP-7825 introduces a gas fee limit per transaction, set at 2 to the power of 24 (≈ 16.78 million gas). This change has already been implemented on the Holesky and Sepolia testnets and will be activated on the mainnet during the Fusaka hard fork. Developers and users who rely on ultra-large transactions should verify whether their contracts and transaction construction tools comply with the new limit requirements.
