Institutions Reassess Fed's December Rate Cut Forecast as Financial System Remains Unchanged
Jinse Finance reported that Deborah Cunningham, Chief Investment Officer at Federated Hermes, stated in a report that the institution will reassess its forecast of a 25 basis point rate cut by the Federal Reserve in December, and expects government data to resume publication soon. She added that although the longer the delay, the more the market will rely on limited and outdated data, the financial system itself has not changed. U.S. fiscal functions have not been affected, new bonds are still being auctioned, there are no restrictions on transactions with the Federal Reserve, and liquidity markets are operating smoothly.
