ChainCatcher News, according to official sources, AI presentation tool developer Gamma has completed a $68 million Series B funding round, bringing the company's valuation to $2.1 billion. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from Accel, Uncork Capital, Script Capital, and South Park Commons.
The company uses AI technology to automatically convert text into presentations and social media content, and has already accumulated 70 million users, with over 600,000 paying users and annual revenue of approximately $100 million. Gamma has been profitable since 2023, with only 52 full-time employees. The $12 million raised in 2024 has not yet been used, demonstrating efficient operations. The new funds will be used to expand enterprise services (the latest enterprise account pricing is $480 per person per year), recruit AI engineers, and develop international business. Founder Grant Lee stated that the company aims to challenge traditional presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Google Slides, and is considering acquiring competitors that have not achieved product-market fit.
