Taiwanese company Dafu Electric buys 1 bitcoin, incorporating bitcoin into its long-term strategic reserves
Foresight News reported, according to United Daily News, that cable TV and broadband company Dafeng TV (6184) announced on the 13th that it had completed the purchase of 1 Bitcoin on the 11th, officially launching the practical deployment of "Bitcoin as a long-term strategic reserve asset." Dafeng TV is also the first listed company in Taiwan to include digital assets in its long-term reserves. Dafeng TV pointed out that this purchase is part of an initial trial phase, with the amount accounting for a very small proportion of total assets. The main purpose is to verify internal systems, operational processes, and custody mechanisms, and it has no significant impact on the financial situation. The company has appointed Anchorage Digital Bank, regulated by the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), as the custodian.
