Ethereum (ETH) has dropped below the $3,000 mark for the first time since July, prompting major investors to step in and buy the dip.

Technologies, a prominent treasury, took advantage of the price drop by purchasing 21,054 for $66.57 million in a single transaction on November 18. This move revealed earlier in the week, bringing the company’s total ETH holdings to 3.6 million—almost 3% of all ETH in circulation. BitMine’s Chairman, Thomas Lee, to liquidity challenges, describing the current environment as a “crypto quantitative tightening” phase that may persist for several weeks.
