USDT0 Cross-Chain Network Surpasses $50B
USDT0, a unified liquidity network for Tether’s USDT stablecoin, reported more than $50 billion moved across its protocol. The company, a cross-chain payments infrastructure provider, reached this milestone ten months after launching in January 2025. The network enables USDT transfers across major blockchains without wrapped tokens or custodial bridges.
In 2025, USDT0 expanded across leading Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, supporting faster settlement for payments, remittances, and institutional transactions. The protocol now connects 15 chains, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana. USDT0 recorded over 415,000 transactions, with an average settlement time of 30 to 40 seconds.
The network also links native USDT on major chains through its Legacy Mesh architecture. This includes USDT on Ethereum via ERC-20, Tron via TRC-20, and TON via its native token format. More than $12.5 billion was transferred in the past month, making USDT0 the most active omnichain token on LayerZero.
